The Case Management of the Stadt Zürich supports employees who are ill or have had an accident in maintaining their ability to work and in reintegrating into the work process and is part of the Health and Case Management department.

For the leadership of one of our two case management teams, we are looking for a leader who, together with the management team, actively helps shape the technical, personnel, and organizational development of the department.

Tasks

• You lead 11 employees, providing orientation, setting clear priorities, and creating framework conditions for effective cooperation.
• Together with the second team leader, you ensure the high-quality implementation of Case Management and continuously develop it.
• You advise employees, managers, and HR specialists from various service departments in a wide range of professional fields.
• You take over the case management for individual cases and plan suitable measures for reintegration into the work process.
• You coordinate and network internal and external contact points such as managers, HR specialists, medical professionals, social insurance providers, and other stakeholders.

Profile

• Several years of experience in professional reintegration or in case management as well as in-depth knowledge of social insurance law.
• Leadership and project management experience, preferably in public administration, in a politically influenced environment, and/or a larger organization.
• Conceptual thinking skills as well as enjoyment in recognizing developments early, contributing own ideas, and actively driving topics forward.
• Strong consulting and communication skills as well as a solution- and resource-oriented way of working.
• A good understanding of and interest in business, medical, and labor law issues.
• University of applied sciences degree in health or social services, in psychology, or a comparable qualification.
