As part of the expansion of our Software Quality Engineering division, we are looking for a Senior Test Manager (M/F) to intervene at one of our strategic clients, a large public organization with a Test Center of about fifteen employees, in charge of the quality, compliance, and risk management of its digital services.

As a Test Manager, you will participate in one or more internal and/or external projects, conducted according to agile or traditional methodologies. You will define the test strategy, manage its implementation, and participate in the preparation and execution of tests. Depending on project needs and your skills, you may also contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of automated tests.

The mission is open to both freelancers and candidates looking for a permanent contract (CDI).

Your missions:

  • Collaborate closely with project management, development teams, business analysts, and business stakeholders
  • Actively contribute to quality/deadline/cost trade-offs
  • Define and manage the test strategy, based on risks and project requirements
  • Plan and coordinate testing activities, including those carried out by actors external to the project
  • Supervise anomalies and ensure the follow-up of their resolution
  • Perform quality reporting and participate in "GO / NO GO" decisions
  • Supervise, support, and motivate testers
  • Identify opportunities for test automation based on risks, criticality, and project context
  • Define the automation strategy in collaboration with automation engineers and development teams
  • Contribute, as needed, to the design, development, maintenance, and execution of automated tests
  • Occasionally take on the role of tester if necessary: prepare and execute tests, detect, qualify, and track anomalies, test fixes, and ensure traceability between requirements, risks, and tests
  • Promote and facilitate testing activities within projects and within the department
  • Participate in the Test Managers Community to share best practices and contribute to the evolution of standards and tooling
  • Higher education degree in computer science (Master's, engineering degree, HES degree) or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience in test management in an agile context
  • Good command of Jira Xray
  • Good command of an agile project management methodology (e.g., Scrum)
  • Ability to define, manage, and enforce a test strategy
  • Ability to contribute to test automation activities within projects
  • Good command of OpenText Application Quality Management (e.g., HP ALM)
  • Ability to analyze risks related to projects and digital services
  • Ability to define a test automation strategy and collaborate with automation engineers
  • Practice of at least one test automation tool or framework (Tosca, Robot Framework, Playwright or equivalent)
  • Experience in implementing quality processes and standards
  • Knowledge and ability to exploit artificial intelligence techniques to optimize testing activities
  • An ISTQB certification (Foundation, ideally Test Manager) would be strongly appreciated; an agile certification (Scrum Master, Product Owner) is a plus

Would be a plus:

  • Mastery of the Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) method
  • Knowledge of Hermès, RUP, ITIL methodologies
  • Successful experience in public administration
  • Experience with Tricentis Tosca, Robot Framework, or Playwright
  • Skills in coaching and training test teams

Your skills:

  • Leadership and ability to supervise and unite teams around quality objectives
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and arbitration skills with management and stakeholders
  • Analytical, synthesis, and decision-making skills
  • Organization, autonomy, proactivity, and ability to participate in several projects in parallel
  • Continuous improvement mindset and openness to innovation (AI, automation)
  • Team spirit, adaptability, and ability to support change
  • Mission start: no later than January 15, 2027
  • Occupation rate: 100 %
  • Duration: indefinite, up to 5 years
