Job Description ##

Making the sustainable economy and committed companies, game-changing projects, and results that matter visible: this is the challenge awaiting you within the Communication Unit of the Service de la promotion de l'économie et de l'innovation (SPEI). Your mission? To ensure that the service's offerings are clear, accessible, and attractive to companies and their partners, particularly around the sustainability component of the Politique d'appui au développement économique (PADE) and the Fonds de soutien à l'économie durable (FSED) which constitute the core of your portfolio.

Concretely, you will imagine and deploy content that inspires engagement in sustainability: campaigns, publications, company portraits, digital formats. You will manage the service's channels, highlight supported projects, and organize meetings that bring companies and partners together around these mechanisms. A transversal position, at the crossroads of content creation, event management, and mandate management.

Responsibilities ##

• Design and implement communication plans, content, and materials adapted to different audiences and channels.
• Develop and manage digital communication related to support for the sustainable economy: websites, social networks, newsletters, direct mail campaigns.
• Promote the companies, projects, and results supported by the service.
• Design, organize, and promote meetings and events intended for companies and partners.
• Manage external mandates, coordinate partners in your portfolio, and measure the effectiveness of actions taken.

Qualifications ##

• Specialized training in digital communication, corporate communication, marketing, or public relations.
• At least 3 years of experience in managing communication projects, including digital communication, editorial production, and managing service providers.
• Excellent writing skills and mastery of digital communication tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate various partners, and adapt content to audiences and media.
• Strong interest in sustainability, innovation, and business support.
• Knowledge of the Vaud economic and institutional fabric as well as sustainable economy actors is desired.

WHO ARE WE? ##

The Service de la promotion de l'innovation et de l'économie (SPEI) of the Canton de Vaud implements the economic development policy of the Conseil d'État. It supports companies in their transition towards sustainability, helps them access financing, and directs them towards a wide network of partners, both internally and externally to the cantonal administration. In addition to supporting innovation, entrepreneurship, and industry, the SPEI also promotes the economic and tourist development of the various Vaud regions with specific aid. Its actions aim to support job creation and ensure the prosperity of the canton.

At the same time, through the Police cantonale du commerce (PCC), the SPEI is also responsible for the regulation of certain economic activities. The PCC notably issues authorizations in the fields of hotel-catering, professional passenger transport, high-risk activities, gambling, price indication, or prostitution salons.
