Your tasks

• You advise our diverse clientele at the counter as well as in the call center.
• You maintain the resident register and ensure the correct regulation of registration statuses. To this end, you process all matters in connection with registrations, deregistrations, and changes of address, as well as residence regulations for Swiss nationals and foreign nationals.
• You issue various official documents and provide information within the framework of data protection regulations.
• You are involved in projects for the further development of the resident services and the entire population services, for example in the area of digitalization and the improvement of customer service.

Your profile

• You have completed commercial training as well as experience in the service sector.
• Ideally, you have worked in a resident registration office and completed corresponding further training, for example the federal specialist certificate in public administration or a comparable qualification.
• You convince through your positive basic attitude, can empathize with our customers, understand their needs, and respond to them in a customer-oriented manner.
• You appear confident and friendly, work conscientiously and responsibly, like to get actively involved, and are open to new things.
• You think entrepreneurially, act sustainably, and value teamwork.
• You communicate very well in German and English. Knowledge of other foreign languages is an advantage.

The resident services, the Regional Civil Registry Office, elections and votes, and the citizenship department are integrated into the population services. With our 35 employees, we live the <<Service public>>.
