Application Support Specialist (a) – Finance & Tax Solutions

To strengthen our teams of a total of 150 dedicated employees, we are looking for you as an Application Support Specialist in our Service Desk at the Kriens location. In this central role, you are part of an upbeat team, support customers from public administration, assist them in the application of our software solutions, and work closely with our specialist and development teams.

What will you move with us?

• As an important part of our Service Desk team, you support and advise customers in the application of our leading tax software solution, which is used in 14 cantons as well as numerous municipalities and cities
• Your professional focus is in the area of tax collection and recovery. You will deepen your knowledge regarding accounts receivable management, payment transactions, dunning and debt collection, and establish yourself as a competent contact person for our customers and internal teams
• Approximately every eight weeks, you support our customer hotline in first-level support. In second-level support, you analyze and resolve more complex malfunctions, reproduce errors on test systems, and develop solutions through data cleansing, configuration adjustments, or workarounds
• In third-level support, you investigate demanding technical and professional issues, perform in-depth analyses using SQL queries, and work closely with our software development and business informatics
• You contribute your ideas for the optimization and automation of our support processes, work in interdisciplinary teams, and participate in software tests, deliveries, and projects

What do you bring with you?

• You have completed training in IT or in the commercial sector, ideally with a connection to taxation. Additional further training or certifications in ITIL, SSK, or accounting are an advantage
• You bring several years of experience in application support, preferably with a software service provider in the environment of business applications, finance software, or ERP systems
• You enjoy application support, appreciate the combination of technology and expertise, and bring good knowledge of SQL and databases
• You think analytically, have a good sense for numbers, and appreciate direct customer contact. In doing so, you proceed in a structured and solution-oriented manner and always meet our customers in a helpful and courteous way
• With your open, collegial, and committed manner, you contribute to positive cooperation and a good team spirit
• Very good German skills are required, other foreign languages (French) are an advantage
