Anyone who confuses <<Steuerverwaltung>> with mountains of paper, pencils, and sluggish officials is quite wrong. We are working increasingly digitally, organizing ourselves with new forms of work, and acting in a customer-oriented manner.

Develop yourself with our support from clerk to Specialist Debt Collection.

Your tasks

• Conduct written, telephone, or personal negotiations with taxpayers and representatives
• Carry out debt collection measures supported by systems according to the Debt Collection and Bankruptcy Act
• Process and decide on requests for deferment, remission, and waiver
• Process payment transactions as well as carry out set-offs and write-offs
• Look after customers at the counter
• Participate in the training and supervision of apprentices

Your profile

• Completed training as Kauffrau/Kaufmann EFZ or equivalent training (knowledge of debt collection proceedings is an advantage)
• Enjoyment of telephone, personal, and written customer contact
• Ability to work in a team and openness to different conversation cultures
• Ability to make decisions and negotiation skills
• You show tact even in hectic situations and remain calm and objective
