Exciting tasks await:

• Implementation and further development of CIS-compliant security hardening and baselines on Windows and Linux servers
• Defining operating models, runbooks, monitoring, as well as change / release processes and ensuring operational excellence
• Analyzing security alerts and incidents, initiating immediate measures and coordinating sustainable remediation
• Technical implementation of security and compliance specifications (including documentation) and support in complying with legal requirements and instructions (creating ISDS concepts)
• Maintaining close cooperation with the System Engineering team, the Information Security specialist unit and other stakeholders

What you bring:

• Apprenticeship EFZ in informatics (or an equivalent training) as well as certifications in Linux (LPIC-2), Microsoft (AZ-800/802) and Security (Security+ / GSEC) or the motivation to acquire these qualifications on-the-job
• Experience in system engineering with (Windows / Linux), in particular practical knowledge in the use of Powershell, processing of Group Policies in the Windows area and knowledge of tools such as OpenScap, Ansible in the Linux area
• Knowledge of the Center of Internet Security Workbench Software (CIS)
• Very good understanding of security and compliance fundamentals (e.g. data protection, access concepts, classification)
• Structured, solution-oriented way of working as well as the willingness to take responsibility and to continuously develop professionally
• Strong communication skills in dealing with various stakeholder groups as well as acting with stylistic confidence in the political environment of a public administration

The Departement Finanzen und Ressourcen (https://www.ag.ch/de/verwaltung/dfr/ueber-uns/organisation/generalsekretariat) with around 650 employees is responsible as a cross-sectional department for ensuring that the resources necessary for the fulfillment of tasks are available to the canton.
