Head of Legal (w/m/d)

As Head of Legal, you will take responsibility for the legal function of Generali Investments Schweiz AG and advise the senior management as well as the relevant governance bodies on legal and regulatory issues. In this key position, you will actively help shape the further development of our fund and asset management activities.

What to expect

• Management of the local legal function as well as leadership and further development of one employee
• Legal advice on fund, investment, financial market, and corporate law issues
• Responsibility for regulatory correspondence and proceedings with FINMA
• Legal support for Swiss investment funds, particularly regarding new fund launches, changes, restructurings, mergers, and liquidations
• Preparation, review, and negotiation of fund and asset management contracts as well as relevant legal documentation
• Close cooperation with senior management, board of directors, compliance, risk management, investments, as well as internal and external legal partners

What you bring with you

• University degree in Swiss law (MLaw / lic. iur.); bar admission is an advantage
• 7–10+ years of relevant legal experience in Swiss asset management or fund business
• Sound knowledge of Swiss collective investment and financial market law, particularly KAG, FINIG, and FIDLEG
• Practical experience with Swiss investment funds as well as regulatory proceedings and authorizations from FINMA
• Leadership experience or clear motivation and ability to further develop a legal function and employees
• Fluent German and very good English skills as well as a pragmatic, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
