Claims Handler (80-100%)

Your Role

In the Claims department, we are looking for a Claims Handler to strengthen our team. In this role, you are responsible for the independent, careful, and customer-oriented processing of claims cases. This includes, in particular, damages related to travel insurance (cancellation, trip interruption, baggage), shopping insurance, as well as ski insurance. In doing so, you will work closely with various internal and external stakeholders and ensure professional and efficient case processing.

• You receive claim notifications and open the corresponding claim cases.
• You process different claim cases independently and in a customer-oriented manner, particularly in the areas of travel insurance, shopping insurance, and ski insurance.
• You analyze facts, make decisions, and regulate benefits in accordance with contractual and legal provisions.
• You conduct correspondence and coordinate the exchange with all parties involved in the claim case, especially with the insured, the medical service, other insurance companies, and legal representatives.
• Several years of experience in processing travel claims, particularly in the area of travel cancellations (at least 2 years)
• Business fluent French and German skills (at least C1) as well as good English skills (at least B2); Italian and Swiss German are an advantage
• Strong written expression skills as well as an independent and structured way of working
• Enjoyment of telephone customer contact, team spirit, organizational talent, and high commitment
• Flexibility, analytical thinking skills, and resilience even in demanding situations
• Confident handling of common IT applications, especially the Microsoft Office package

We offer you an attractive annual salary starting from CHF 78'000 (full-time basis). The actual compensation depends on your experience, your qualifications, and your professional competencies.
